Tree Calligram Chosen for Sound Generations 2024 Calendar

  Sound Generations, a non profit supporting seniors and based in Seattle Washington, has chosen one of my calligrams to be featured in their calendar for 2024. My Tree of Life Calligram is representing the month of September, which I would have found more suitable for the Spring months with this tree in full bloom. Honored however to be included with other fine artists featured as well. This Tree of Life Calligram is part of a collection of over 200 calligrams designs I created between the years of 2009 and 2014 before moving on to more intuitive illustration. 

   Over 1000 of my calligram designs were sold via Etsy all over the world before the marketplace was taken over by mass produced commercially made product. These designs were the very first calligrams to be featured on Etsy before the computer software was developed, which can so easily produce them now. After a successful 6 year run, my hand drawn calligrams were crowded out by generated computer fonts and flat shapeless designs. It was time for a new design change.
