Horoscope Zodiac Illustration for Aquarians by Joni James

 

     The newest drawing in my zodiac art collection is the symbol for Aquarius. This one being #7 in my attempt to complete the entire calendar,  I wanted to stay away from the usual art we find with this sign. Women with long hair spilling out water from a large jug while surrounded by ethereal swirls and waves. Instead, I tried a new approach by using circles asymetrically placed enclosing soft cascading waves seeming to pour from the tail of the letter "s" and curving back into itself in another circle shape. The color scheme suggesting water with stars twinkling in the sky while the warmth of the amber and peach tones finish out the balance of warm and cool. Stay tuned for Pisces next!
